Team Building Adventures in Vancouver

I went with my company on a Team Building adventure in Vancouver to Raw Canvas. It was amazing. I love the simple, easy-to-choose from menus of cheese and meats. Its a great concept. Wine selection is good. Painting on canvas sounded scary but was really the most fun I’ve had in a long time. The canvas is now up in my apartment and I always get comments on it. Awesome to say I painted it myself. There are staff on the floor who know paint and give good advice and recommendations on your paintings. This was so much fun I want to go again.

We tried this place on a whim, having never heard of it or been there before. The whole team thought that this was fantastic and I can only hope that it catches on. Any activity that can successfully combine with eating and drinking is pretty much always a good time, especially resulting in a memento of the occasion!

We arrived early in the day to avoid the crowd that amassed for the live music, and as we are NOT artists, we were hoping to paint in peace to save us from embarrassment if our painting was sub-par. The great thing about Raw Canvas is that the resulting art is not the point; rather, the point is to have fun, express oneself, and give painting a try. As the server said, “Most artists have a studio at home and don’t need to come here to paint. This is mainly for people who usually don’t.”

They have a good selection of cheese, charcuterie, etc and a decent selection of drinks. I would recommend coming here as a company for the team building packages which are a great accompaniment to the whole concept.
Whether you’re painting, observing, or just enjoying the music, Raw Canvas is an incredible place to share a day (or night) with good company.

  1. I own a small business in Vancouver and booked a session with Raw Canvas last month. I was very impressed with the level of service they provided. I plan to make this a yearly thing.
